this is a movie for those people that believe in the power of fate, 11:11s, stars, constellations, fortune telling, flipping a coin, signs, and that everything happens for a reason
but i need to say this, mas marami po akong naramdamang inis kesa sa kilig. it is just because you already know what could happen because it is already foretold but there's always a possibility that the characters might end in a different way, which gives me this feeling that adrian's character might end up as a gay that a guy only runs to just because a girl doesn't give a shit about him anymore.....
if you already watched your name engraved herein, the feeling that that movie gave me was just the same.. the inis that i felt for that guy because he's fighting his feelings off, the feeling that even though we know they feel love for each other they would beat that love from their body so hard til it dies, but it just didn't ANDDD YEAHHH I GET IT, IT SHOWS THE REALITY IN AN UNREALISTIC SETTING and when i said UNREALISTIC, you, a gay guy, met a guy in a retreat then suddenly you became that close and developed feelings for each other..... and REALITY is that sometimes gays are just there to make a guy feel not alone... that's it.
i knew that the storytelling is effective because i see what they did to it that made me write these things, I LOVE PROJECTS THAT HAVE ADRIAN LINDAYAG AS A CAST IN THERE like after watching MARAHUYO PROJECT (im so sad i can't rate it here because i don't know why it doesn't exist in letterboxd but that series was a 5/5) i realized so so many things about myself, it made me more proud of who i am
this movie didn't milk the fact that Paul is in there, i just think that they could do more with Paul's character.. i don't know maybe a love triangle between paul, dominic, and luke but yeah i know that the situation is chaotic and complicated already
i feel the bits of every BL that i've watched in this, there's little to nothing new
(i have watched this and noticed so much things that i can say were related to mine.... their school is ST. FRANCIS, which is mine tooooo, they believe in flipping a fucking coin, i did too.... they are looking for signs FOR LIKEEE EVERYWHERE WHICH IS I AM TOO) what are the oddss
