Sirocco and the Kingdom of Winds
a tale as old as time! (getting so horny for the right person that you become incompetent immediately after meeting them)

this was so much fun. every time a new creature appeared i'd laugh out of excitement to find out how it would flourish. it was surrealistic in the sense that Miró or Carrington could have made it. every character was so fucking sweet i want to kill myself. even the mayor

Juliette was equally cute and exasperating, Carmen is the typical older sister you want to protect from everything. Agnes and Selma's storyline is devastating. Sirocco is the most unconventional hero, he's what you'd expect the wizard of oz to be

i loved it too much i can barely stand it, i need four months to digest it

This is a Hayao Miyazaki + René Laloux + Scavengers Reign mash up.

And I love it.

Pure. Magic. There's not really much more to say other than I think it's a quintessential animated film. Such a quaint and passionate piece of art brimming with wonder.
