31 On 31: 70s & 80s Slashers
I was kinda bored in the beginning, to be honest, but I got more engaged as the movie went on. I love the progressive understanding/panicking that something is not right. It reminds me of found footage, like that creeping feeling that something unknown is watching you. I will always LOVE that.
Now for the dialogue part. I get so bored when they start talking. We don’t see any of the actual kills on screen, which I wouldn’t mind if this movie wasn’t so boring. The dead bodies/how the killer sets up the dead bodies was fun tho!
I like the concept of the killer’s main motive being he hates doctors because a doctor fucked up his surgery. And we all know who the doctor is, aka the main person he is terrorizing: Harry.
But other than that, this one was disappointing. I swear pacing can absolutely ruin a good concept. 💔 Breaks my heart every time it happens.
Me try to differentiate white men who look alike challenge failed… yet again.
