I chose this for my first day of my pride month watchlist and was not disappointed. This documentary style movie made me a bit emotional as I got to see a long-lasting lesbian couple tell their story with pictures, videos, and personal anecdotes. At times it was a bit lacking in content but that is to be expected of documentaries as they cannot always be packed with content. My favorite line was "and I would do it all over again" or maybe the letter written to Terry by Pat. I think it holds up as a good documentary to through on - it gives me hope to keep moving forward as a queer woman from a place in the middle of nowhere, their love for each other so boundless and the family they made with the friends along the way was a beautiful reminder of my own chosen family of which I value so much.
