i heard that a guy fucked a pinball machine in this movie and i was immediately curious, especially upon hearing that that wasn't even the most insane part of the movie. you're telling me a woman becomes a pinball machine becomes an elevator becomes a motorcycle and fucking dies? wouldve rated higher if ying and lung kissed passionately

Loosely focusing on the logic of the fantasy element of the film, The Wicked City still manages to be an explosion of quick emotion and mind-boggling action. The film still has the charm of flawed writing which is not worrying about taking the structure of character writing too seriously but still offering strong emotional depth. 

I loved the weirdness of these random monsters popping out of nowhere. But what helps with my experience more is the aesthetic. The neon backdrops give this an extra layer of sincerity and insanity when it comes to understanding the characters on screen. This is a beautiful display of ridiculousness paired with neo-noir.
