WHY IS EVERY CHARLIE HEATON MOVIE SO SAD I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE. I WATCHED THIS TO SEE HIM LOOK AMAZING WITH A BEARD BUT HIS LOOKS ARE VERY OVERSHADOWED BY HOW TRAGIC THIS MOVIE IS. THE WHOLE TIME I WAS PRAYING THE ENDING WOULDN'T HAPPEN AND THEN IT DID ☹️☹️. THE ACTING AND THE STORY ARE INCREDIBLE THOUGH.

Whispery and slow with a terrible score and an uncomfortable plot where the connective grief of one losing a mother and the other losing a child becomes strangely sexual.
Carherine Keener is the goat, and aside from charlie heatons awful hair, he was good also... I wish this was just a tad more personable or at least just had better music instead of this mixed way too loud microsoft windows screensaver bullshit.

this was a major letdown for me. the whole film is drenched in a strange sadness and leaves a very bad taste behind, from the depressing plot to the painfully boring score. the characters and what they do had no impact on me at all, except disinterest and boredom. the script is also frustrating and sloppy, with nothing to cling to. what a bummer
