Publisher Will Atenton quits a lucrative job in New York to relocate his wife, Libby, and their daughters to a quaint town in New England. However, as they settle into their home the Atentons discover that a woman and her children were murdered there, and the surviving husband is the town's prime suspect. don’t get me wrong, i would’ve shit on it for being a cliche “they were dead all along and he did it” movie, but that still would’ve been better than where we ended up

i don’t know what’s worse: his own delusion arguing against his disillusionment or that delusion turning out to be a real ghost that is an active part of most of the final act

also how do you manage to get this far in putting out a hit on your wife and never give the street address?

maybe I'm crazy, or maybe it's the nostalgia, but I still think this movie is good.
