This one hits differently. It’s the first time the project truly grapples with mortality, marking the passing of Nick and the final chapter for director Michael Apted. Watching the 7-year-old faces flicker behind the 63-year-olds is a profound, haunting reminder of how quickly the clock runs. I'm so glad they're continuing the series; with 70 Up expected this May, it feels less like an ending and more like a necessary passing of the torch.

You can feel a real shift in this one. They start looking at the documentary series with more sentimentality than they have in the past.
Cant believe there will be another one of these next year. Couldn’t help but think during this one that none of them know COVID is coming.
