Absolute fucking banger. The Set design, the direction, the editing, the cinematography, the performances (especially Takeshi Kaneshiro) are all top notch. The fight choreography is done by Donnie Yen who also plays the lead, so you know that's top notch too.
The story isn't much to write home about but who cares? Although I am sad Tang Wei didn't get time to shine.

Actually watched this twice, and I thought it was bad the first time seeing it, maybe it was 2⭐️. It has grown a lot on me I believe due to me seeing this when I was 14, and I was not mature enough to understand shit.
