TMI, i have to skip the entirety of Roger Moore because after the first movie, not completely disappointed, it just felt like a Dr. No 2.0 for me, but i promise i will finish the collection when the time comes, just not at the moment.

Back to The Living Daylights. Finally, an entrance of a Bond i have never seen before where i was mesmerized by how well the movie executed. Timothy Dalton introduces a cold 007, exuding a deep, grounded performance whilst charm beams out of his presence. Maryam D’Abo as the Bond girl also completes the Bond's romantic affair, more intimate and touching. So many things were regurgitated for 2 hours, but not a moment felt filibustered, strictly tight and straightforward, yet supple with tantalizing action that gradually grips. Well-defined and spectacularly balanced between twisty espionage, romance, gadgetry and visceral tension with mercenary villains. Boldly putting it as the best Bond entry that ever made.
