Takes about an hour too long for Acid Sid to show up

an amazingly campy dtv movie that had me thoroughly engaged in the first half of it, surprisingly so. it had no business being so watchable lol
you wont be disappointed if you love a so bad its good slasher with some bizarre horror elements

i saw someone glazing this movie for being homoerotic. clearly they don’t know wtf that means cuz this movie could have been a thousand times gayer imo
anyways this is camp. camp perfected. camp to the hundredth power. pledge night has an abundance of boobs and blood. there’s gorey kills, gross out horror, insane practical effects, and a killer soundtrack provided by anthrax.
i actually don’t hate the writing on any of the characters, even if at times they can be over performed. it’s the 80’s, man. what else do you expect?

"Thank you, sir! May i have another, Sir!"
The most horrific parts of this film were the hazing rituals which almost made me puke multiple times. This film is also super horny.
It has a mixture of 80s and modern vibes. Like you can pin this film as the start of when slashers started to have a modern and polished look. Maybe its cos I watched it in high quality.

I never heard of this. It was made in 1988 and then released in 1990, but it looked like it was from 1981. If you know what “Fraternity X” is then you’ll get it. LOL. I laughed more than expected. For a DTV, you can expect the same with their acting. Oooft. Oh, and that man’s screaming! Oh, for an 80 minute movie it could have been shorter. 🤷 I love practical effects. ☠️ 👻 💀 Freddy rip-off, but looks like a Steven Tyler lookalike? Nonetheless, it was fun. (Tubi)
