Bruh, crazy plot twist after another in a movie where you’d expect there to be no plot twists. 
I thought this shit was supposed to be a love story. absolutely floored what this movie became at the end. 

I can definitely see why it’s such a divisive movie on Letterboxd for sure but honestly the ratings far too low, I thought this was great, very unique and interesting.

A slow paced absurdist drama that plays with themes of tragedy but ultimately is probably better suited to its origins as a stage play.

Not near Shepard’s best writing while also being nowhere close to Altman’s best filmmaking, yet he does something very interesting with the slow zooms that I think adds a cinematic layer to the pretty closed off play. A bit arid while also holding my attention just enough to keep the nagging questions lingering in my mind.
