Filmtok 52 Week Watch Challenge 2023 - Week 7 - An Oscar-Winning Short Film
I don't usually like rating short films, especially logging them, but for the sake of the challenge, I will.
This short film gave me goosebumps many times during the 12 minutes of length. A very realistic and sad story that is told so well with no dialogue. The score for this was great, and I liked that it was multiple songs, not just one. The cinematography was another highlight, especially the shot of the parents standing in front of the sun. The use of the colour blue was very good, and the back story of what happened made that colour even sadder. I surprisingly didn't cry, but I would if it was feature length.
A bit annoyed that I had to watch a short film this week, but it is what it is.
