Kristin Stewart! That’s it that’s the review. 

Kristin Stewart was acting like rent was due. Like this wasn’t even her anymore it was THE princess Diana. I loved this every aspect of this film—the storytelling, the cinematography, and the score. The score was truly something special, Johnny Greenwood might be one of my favorite scorers. The acting and the cinematography were there but the score took this to a whole other level.

Visually stunning, the muted vibrancy of Pablo Larraín’s Spencer is accentuated by subdued camerawork and an incredibly powerful performance from Kristen Stewart. The surrealist imagery and score work hand in hand to create a beautiful chaotic ambiance. However, something has to be said about the pacing; by the third act I was a lot less interested than during the first and second. I will say, I don’t know too much about Princess Diana so please let me know if the portrayal was accurate.
