All I really need in life is Jussi Bjørling and a bit of cock-diesl. Say what you want about Stavanger, but it’s produced some genuinely iconic actors. I love the b&w cinematography. I think I’m just a sucker for films that manage to be low-budget yet still look great, almost as if the limited production value works in the film’s favour. It even has a Dogme 95 feel, both in its humor and its style, even if it doesn’t fully adhere to the movement’s rules.
