Disney Channel isnt going to make anything that tops this from a technological movie standpoint. I genuinely cannot believe it’s being rated this high on letterboxd for me, honestly incredibly well done disney channel.
Plot 7.2/10
honestly a really positive idea for a movie, was invested the entire time.Extremely well structured which i was shocked about. They had so many solid plot points they discussed at the end of the movie.
Characters/Acting 6.7/10
i feel like the actual characters were just like regular people so idk how to rate them. Acting wise (especially for disney channel) was freaking incredible. Shia was obviously incredible during the sad and authentic moments, the girl was just as good too be honest (sorry i forgot her name).
Filming/Style 7.0/10
If you know me you know i’m a sucker for 2000s vibes and they bring it perfectly. Even the set design for the rooms was so aesthetic.
Overall 7/10
i’m genuinely blown away by how much this movie surprised me. Quality wise disney channel legit will never put out anything this good again.
