I knew nothing about this coming in other than Polanski and the cast and that probably gave me too high of expectations
I will start by saying, apparently this is an adaptation of a play, which makes a lot of sense and I think that medium is probably more effective for the story.
For what it was, I really enjoyed this until the Scotch came out. It’s hard for one actor to portray realistic drunk/boozed on screen, 4 actors playing drunk for the entire final act of the film just made for some of the lower moments of the film in my opinion
