Stunning. Every frame is beatifically painted. And man, this movie is about the ladies, dude. Between the titular character of The Snow queen, the various witches, AND a thief girl loves animals, it’s no wonder that this movie inspired Miyazaki to be an animator.

After the two intro segments (keep in mind this is an hour-long movie) I was starting to wonder what the hell they were doing. It's a very bloated cast of characters that we meet one right after another but there are good elements in each very shot segment with them. It just doesn't tie everything together and it ends up feeling disjointed.
