this would’ve been so much better with a different director :(( i really think the story was interesting and such a good concept, but they really overdid it with spelling everything that happened out for the reader, and not leaving much up for their own interpretation. amy adams is a star tho give her some flowers!!!

Okay so I’m conflicted- legit some beautiful gut wrenching acting my Amy Adams but then it cuts to some hella cringe stuff. I guess parts of the book don’t translate well into film but I still liked it. But the ending was so disappointing- not to be a hater of book adaptations but I feel like it maybe takes away from the message and also because the book ending is so magical and beautiful. But what do I know 🤷🏻‍♂️
