This is quite possibly my favorite movie I will ever give 3 and a half stars. 

I love Paul Walker in this (imperfect New Joisy accent included) and I adore the ultra gritty look of the entire film. 

My biggest issue with it is a decision made by one of the characters that no person, regardless of age, would ever do that is so frustrating because it must OF been a creative choice made out of laziness. 

The hockey rink shootout is peak though.

Running Scared is a good one even with its flaws and it’s an easy 4 star flick had it not been for imperfections that I can’t help but view as avoidable.

I am pissed at you and I am scared. Equal measures.

Looks like absolute dogshit but hey, that’s just 2006.
Story went in some VERY unexpected places, which I say in a complementary measure.

Vera Farmiga is exceptional in her supporting role, she proves that she has ALWAYS been great. Her funeral look? Devoured.

But if you REALLY wanna see that kid act? Go watch Birth (2004).
