Honestly, I really wanted to like Carrie , I tried, but everything feels fake. The screams, the blood, the gestures, the atmosphere… nothing hits. Clearly, it inspired Pearl , and honestly, I preferred Pearl. Maybe I didn’t connect because Carrie’s mother reminded me too much of mine, and that annoyed me. The only thing I truly remember: Carrie’s hair. My ultimate goal.

It was bad, Mama. They laughed at me. Hold me, Mama. Please hold me.This poor girl. She deserved to have a normal life and a happy ending. She deserved to have good friends. She deserved to be happy with Tommy. I have so much hatred for Chris and everyone else who bullied her.
