added an extra half star for astronaut monkey. the story is nothing unique but the sets are pretty at times when it doesn't obviously look like the California desert.

Criterion Challenge 2024 Wifey Edition

Me 5/10 Some interesting visuals and a fun monkey. I like the idea of this movie, but it spends way too much time on nothing, and wish it had the capability to explore more around the eventually friendship and way more with the aliens. Still ok though
Wifey. 2/10 made it about 2/3 of the way through before passing out. It is better as a Svengoolie midnight movie.
