i was so worried his hair was gonna grow long while in prisom

the first half was very battles without honor and humanity and the second half was... interesting. i thought i would watch another (more modern) yakuza film to help close out the month (in commemoration of the genre marathon i had over spring break) and this certainly qualified.

j'avoue j'ai pleuré j'aurais voulu mettre une meilleure note mais disons que ça prend du temps à devenir intéressant 

si c'était produit sous forme de trilogie ça aurait été vraiment incroyable pcq là ça manque de developpement pour les trois periodes surtout la première on ne connaît pas grand chose de lui

c'est intéressant de voir l'exclusion sociale des anciens yakuzas, le fait que leurs choix ne les quittent jamais et l'impact sur leurs familles
