The Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) go on a quest to find a fallen wishing star to help Dot with her illness. Unfortunately the rest of the town, including an evil king, also hear about the star and want to get to it first to have their own wishes come true. It's a race against time and it's up to the three zany siblings to get there first.

Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish
I remember first watching Animaniacs when I was around 9, I was off school for a week for being sick, and I decided to watch some tv to help the hours go by. I found Animaniacs on Boomerang, and instantly fell in love with it and the characters and humour.

When I was around 11 or so I stopped actively watching it, and then the reboot came out at a time I REALLY wanted to separate myself from animation.

Quite recently though I’ve been getting a lot of nostalgia for the series, and the only piece of media from the original series I hadn’t seen yet was this 1999 straight to video finale for the series. Whilst i probably would’ve preferred this a bit more when I was first getting back into the series, I still found this to be a very enjoyable film with fun characters, a simple plot and a fun sense of humour. Although I think the movie could’ve done with just a bit more focus on the Warner trio and some more originally composed music, I think it’s a really solid children’s movie and a great end to the show.

(Please Warner Bros release an official HD release of this)

How can one make a 1hr 19min movie feel like a century long. 80% of this movie was establishing the goals of every single character on screen jeez
Unrelated but I’ve had the songs of this movie stuck in my head since I was a baby.

Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish
“Try to cheer up, and never give up hope” 😭😭😭

I remember watching this VHS all the time growing up. I just saw it was the 26th anniversary and I had to put it on (Free on Internet Archive)

Wow, what a clever and beautifully animated film. I’d say it’s almost perfect. The jokes had me laughing at loud, for kids and adults, and the soundtrack is PEAK!!!!

A great original send off to The Animaniacs, with a message about going against corporate greed (kind of sad now considering Netflix bought Warner Bros… we really need Wakko and his wish more than ever right now 💔💔💔💔)

Highly reccomend this as a watch this holiday season. Not Christmas, but gives you that same feeling as A Christmas Carol, with just beautiful animation. It honestly is just the sweetest and most heartfelt kids animated project I’ve ever seen.

🎶🎶🎶 I GOT A HA’ PENNY TODAYYY, HES GOT A HA’PENNY HORRAY! 🎶🎶🎶🎶

Okay, I love you buh bye ♥️

Minus half a star for the mime discrimination. That poor guy was trying his best.
