I wish Joe wright made a damn adaptation he'd probably do a better job than most at it.
The casting is great and accurate, especially Catherine, she looks so perfect. I must say even though Heathcliff's actor is not a person of colour he is atleast tanned....Unlike a certain someone.
I admire the fact they stayed loyal to the books.
My god I love how Matthew Macfadyen blessed my eyes...Miserable, awkward and shy roles fit him so much.

Even though it is a faithful adaptation, making Heathcliff actually unlikable, and thus turning the story from a romance into a revenge drama, which I appreciate, it ultimately lacks charisma... Apart from being a "good" adaptation, it has nothing else going for it; it's a rushed, visually dull, and all-around mediocre straight-to-TV movie...
