It’s kind of funny because I recognize the quote, but I had absolutely no idea where it came from.
I haven’t seen those two xXx movies in over 10 years, even though my sister and I loved them as kids, which is why my feelings about them are heavily influenced by nostalgia. Objectively speaking, it’s simple, over-the-top, and full of clichés, so it could actually pass as a parody.
But even after all this time, I definitely still enjoyed the movie, it’s just a bit trashy.
