I loved every second of this. Roman Coppola directed it well, and I loved every cameo. Michael Cera definitely stole every scene. I'd give it 5 stars because I love Arcade Fire and everything, but this isn't a music video. It's like a short film/musical. Oh, I don't know. All I know is that I had a lot of fun with the visuals, the music, and the jokes.

This music film was so fun to watch especially with all of Coppola's posterboys in their silly roles. Been a huge fan of Arcade Fire for a while now and this was a treat. I never considered how much Arcade Fire was connected to film work, their finest being making the ost for Her and then having songs appear for Boyhood, Dumbo, and Hunger Games. My favorite song being We Exist, which discusses personal transgender struggles and to live with the acceptance of judgement, but the desire to live without persecution from your parents and erasure (also it reflects how i feel growing up in a family that does not accept my lifestyle and actively hurt me on this very topic).
