This was a nice little doc about one of the most iconic and influential horror films ever made. There was very interesting and insightful information in this that wasn’t even in the 4 hour Never Sleep Again documentary. I feel that this was a more grounded film and I loved the fact that it only focused on the first A Nightmare on Elm Street movie. I really enjoyed seeing all of the alternate takes that were shown throughout and I adored listening to Wes Craven and Heather Langenkamp enthusiastically talk about making this film. If you’re looking to learn more about this franchise and don’t feel like spending 4 hours watching the other Never Sleep Again documentary, then this is the absolute perfect thing to watch!!
