colonialist, sexist, and just outright boring. if you are going to have the first two aspects present in media, at the very least, create some sort of depth and nuance to show or explain why it’s there! the main characters (that i developed no sort of connection to by the way) literally just wound up in an unknown territory that they do not belong in and decided to go and do the most heinous things to the people who did. the women were treated horribly and were nothing more than eye candy that merely just cater to men. this was just fucking awful. i will say, the premise was interesting and that is why i even watched in the first place but my god, the execution of it was abysmal and a complete waste of my time.
