THIS WAS DON COSCARELLI?!?!?
Way out of his league, especially for him to be editing this. So much plot to get through and explain that the movie feels like its constantly trying to play catch up with a snowball rolling down a hill. Pacing is terrible, acting is weird but charming in a tumblr-core way. Giamatti god bless you for ACTING when you should've been acting. Fun special effects. Just a really weird off movie.

First good movie i have watched in a while, im usually torturing myself with things like “Special Needs Revolt.” Anyways, i love this movies use of lighting and acting and its so confusing but its fun. who doesnt love space drugs?

I’m a little biased because I love the books but with that knowledge this is a pretty good retelling of the first book minus a couple things that they took out.
