Very excited to continue to go through the Howard Hawks films I haven't seen on the current Criterion Channel collection!
This was basically all that I expected- but I mean that in a very good way. So much fun and vibrant color with fantastic songs. I also loved the friendship between Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, it's refreshing to see a female friendship be the main focus of a film, the male characters all felt more on the sidelines. The court room scene was also just peak cinema and so clever.
