Surrounded is dialogue-heavy and has amazing cinematography, but the plot armour is very obvious and the conversations between the two main characters could’ve had a bit more substance.
I liked the idea of a western film being set in the few years after the American civil war, a scenario I believe has a lot of potential for great films.
Letitia Weight proved once again she’s got what it takes to lead a major motion picture, after her notoriously moving work in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

I actually enjoyed this a lot. The cinematic aspect of this was so well done, it’s a beautiful movie. Suspense and pacing was also done extremely nicely. Sadly, dialogue was long and too much religious talk
