Leslie Caron is such a great movie star. Loved the realistic grimy, often sad, version of modern england in this, where abortions and prostitution are remarkably casual things to bring up. Wasn't super invested in the romance. All the men in this are horrible, I thought Johnny was a great character until he exposed his misogynistic streak and started calling her a whore, but his response to receiving a record as a Christmas present despite not owning a record player was still very touching and I liked their relationship. Could've been half an hour shorter easily.
