what a heartbreaking film, that last scene especially had me teary eyed. it’s insane that chiwetel ejiofor didn’t win an oscar for this performance. some of the best acting i’ve seen on screen, not only from him but lupita nyong’o was great and michael fassbender’s character felt scarily real. we should never forget the horrific tragedy that was slavery and i’ll never ever have any love for anyone who hates others for the color of their skin.
