The Great Escaper but with my favourite Bond.
The two films have very similar plots and released very close to eachother. Do you think the crews would get together to hang? They could have gone between two sets without issue, they're filming the same shit.

The little guy was so bored he dragged his grieving grandfather away from the love of his life's grave.

I have to keep comparing it to The Great Escaper, this guy did not wait.
Wife died, got on a train.

That man betrayed the train service, sending him to get a bus, good for him.

I did not like that reporter. I hope it comes out that he's a kiddie fiddler or something. I hope his career is ruined. I hope his flight home is delayed.

Pierce Brosnan should have got nominated for best actor for this. Every single scene he brought his A game and jesus is this movie sad. A movie about a man going through so much hardship to get to the yearly meeting of all the veterans from D-Day and he get their and finds out he is the only one still alive. That's so fucking depressing. And the scene where he finds out is fantastic. The downfall is that every single other actor in this movie (except the older german veteran and his friend from the nursery home) is god awful.  There were some crazy twists and I cried multiple times. Overall such a sad but beautiful movie when it was about Pierce Brosnan character. And the ending was perfect.
