It's crazy how good this is. An absolute blast.
This version of the turtles is way too overhated imo. I mean, I disliked them at first too but when I watched the show, they grew on me and I realized that these turtles are awesome in their own way.
But this movie is definetely a lot better than the show. The story is so different from any other tmnt story yet so peak.
I really liked this version of the krang, probably the most powerful and horrifying version of the character(s). Casey was also pretty cool, very different take than before.
And also another great rivarly between Leo and Raph, that is always been so interesting to me, and this version lacked that before, but with this movie we finally got that, and It's kinda suprising that they roles were reversed in a way. Meaning, Leo is more stubborn and childish and Raph is trying to talk some sense into him, while in the 2007 movie for example, it was the other way around.
Speaking of Leo, his character developement is so fucking peak and this movie shows it so well, while also not compelety forgetting the other brothers and characters and giving them time to shine too.
The action was easily the best part about this movie. So flashy and epic.
Such an underrated movie, and every turtle fan should see this asap.
I rate 9/10
