Same as the first one, visually spectacular with a very solid story and great characters. In my opinion it was a bit too similar to the first one in some parts, like the whole learning a new culture trope. I definitely am able to look past it because this movie is so beautiful, the visuals are just so immaculate. One of my biggest problems and it’s mostly just a pet peeve of mine is the talking whales, I hated that it could talk. I wish it was like the with the other creatures where it was an interpersonal connection within the mind, also spider is kind of annoying and stupid but whatever. It’s still a great movie though.
