absolutely outstanding!!!! I am extremely confused by the middling letterboxd reviews of this movie…. I can’t help think people are just mad racist 😭 how could you say this movie is simple or poorly made?? There are so many layers of interesting commentary and questions explored, I feel like without doing some serious research I barely scratched the surface on my first watch. Could even see this making my top four if I do watch again with more knowledgeable eyes. I absolutely need to watch the rest of his films and read his books! New love discovered ❤️
