It’s definitely cool but really that’s about all it has going for it. I applaud the part where the predator goes ape shit on all the French (I think) Buffalo hunters, freaking awesome sequence but other than that, it’s meh. The protagonist was all right although I found the battle axe with a string tied to it really dumb. I get that it’s an alien movie but that part was about as unrealistic as a predator existing. Also something about the natives speaking English was a throw off, I think I would’ve rather have read subtitles then have them speak English. It was just kind of funky. It was also a bit slow coming out the gate for a predator movie. It did drag a bit. It’s still solid though, I’d watch again.
