This feels like a Bogart movie in 70s Singapore. Something like Key Largo. It’s pretty illicit with the sex culture without ever going too explicit with the visuals. The wildest it gets is towards the beginning with two trans ladies jumping around to Goldfinger. Also good to see Marcus from Indiana Jones. It took me a minute to put my finger on it, but once I did, it was cool to see him in this. Ben Gazara is great as ever and plays such a swav playa that knows how to show anyone a good time. It’s mostly just a chill hangout movie, some action with mob stuff, but just hanging with Jack and seeing what he gets up to.

Feels a lot more real and grounded than other Bogdanovich films, not sure it works without Ben Gazzara either, great on screen presence.
