It’s still a solid Christmas movie but it’s definitely not better than the OG. The traps and torture chambers are less intricate and the bandits are absolutely way more stupid. In the first, you could’ve believed that they would fall for some of the traps, in this one, it’s a lot harder to believe that those traps would catch a grown adult even with the insane amount of CTE that they probably both have. The ending payout is also weaker in my mind, it’s till solid but weaker than the original, will watch again during the holidays though.
