i’m surprised with how much i enjoyed this despite this having a very secluded low budget local atmosphere. i really liked the two different tonal shifts this explores. the two tones don’t mix like oil and water, the first half is forgiving filled with romantic christmas energy and the second half is cheap gore with unbeknownst conflict. but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

the dialogue writing is pretty decent for something that’s clearly cheap, really good cheesy lines here and there. obviously there are some awkward line deliveries and the camera doesn’t really know what to do but sit there. the environment doesn’t feel too homey as i wish it could, that’s usually the issue with these cheaper films is that the setting usually feels dull.

despite loving the chemistry between olivia and luke, this film plays with their conflict too safe. there wasn’t anything alarming or crazy that would get the audience to be on the edge of their seat. it could’ve given more of the horror aspect for sure and tried to be more terrifying since the most of the film had a lot of comedic backdrops.

Is that the sweater i gave you?The vampires are so bad i laugh at everytime i see them the minute i saw those vampire lenses i knew this was going to be satirical and i knew i would about the movie . So like basically a bat goes against a girls window one night and she falls in love with him. Altough it was entertaing for 30 minutes it started to fall losing itself in it and turning into twilight cliche with a horrible trope became way to generic and started to try way to hard to be funny. This shit was funny in the first part ngl she just like stares smilling at him theres so many funny moments in this bro i cant even explain it like unicorns and candy elves are real and the guy is so serious about them the first 30 minutes were great the problem is it fell down. It could be someting better but it lost me in the middle it really tried to be good and it could be but naaah i didnt like it.

I was having it tbh it aint that bad it was so bad its good type of funny like it wasnt taking tself serious and in this case its kinda good theres alot of funny shit like a wet dream about vampires and the vampire like just confused what the fuck happening and unicorns are real i cant make this shit up bro💀. While the story and is kinda mid it was fun for like 30 minutes with a actually badass title card and a meh opening scene but then it started to get boring after this one kill and more of rom com that a satirical horror movie with lot of cliche tropes starting to happen and cringy unberable dialogues with them it just started to feel way to much like romantic teen movies that are so bad it turned into fucking twilight and the bad acting def didnt help. Lukes friends appear and boy are they hard to watch its the same sexy girl buff friend trope and obv the sexy girl is the leader cause they always are. The movie also tries to gain lore going into uncessary mythological ancient shit that made no sense and was really random. It tries to be someting and takes a random plot change that also made no sense it also has a very bland ending and you know just kinda meh but i liked that last kill took her long enough!

Overall it could be good and it seemed good but it got bad boring cliche and cringe with mid acting and lukes character is so annoying really tryna be that guy from twilighy this whole movie tries to be twilight and thats annoying about it

**SPOILERS AHEAD

Golden chainsaw:**Those 3 street guys (1 Head twisted off and other 2 bitten to death)
Dull machete: random girl from opening scene (vampire pops up and she is eaten offscreen)
