The mundanity of it all the movie exudes. Themes i havent seen executed in films that i think is actually p interesting + i feel would be a real issue for most considering how much we refuse to acknowledge poverty when we arent affected.

Spanish mumblecore! Nice movie with small ambitions, found Amalia Ulman really winning. Having Scorsese lurk around in the background of proceedings is a fun choice. It's creative as hell that in a black and white film about someone working in fashion they found a zebra pattern outfit for her to wear so her style comes across even without colour. A novelty to see a Spanish film that Brendan hasn't seen.
