I guess it's as good as it can be considering neither the titular Misha nor the titular wolves agreed to be interviewed for this documentary (although we still get tons of Misha interviews, just none specifically done for this doc, which are the ones that we spend the entire time waiting to see). I liked how they did it in layers, introducing a new character and lens each time, but we end up with way too many people, most of whom add nothing beyond their five minute chunk. I love this shit and I was ready with my pitchfork, but the doc tries to keep it too even keel when it really needed to go for the jugular; I don't want to hear you trying to defend the villain of the story. No spoilers, but the doc as a whole seems to buy into some real bullshit and I just wasn't having it. The biggest detriment to the film is Misha's lack of participation as after the turn in the narrative, we lose her voice when we need it most. As much as we get from all the other interviewees, Misha is the main fucking character and she's missing for the climax. It's still a fascinating story, but it's essentially missing the last third.
