Interesting premise, feels like it’s vaguely addressing two current popular issues through use of soft social commentary. Decent for what it’s worth; enjoyed seeing Stanley.

I'm no longer excited for the next Avengers movies

Maybe I just watch a lot more trash than your average movie watcher, but this isn’t nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I mean, it’s not good and it certainly should have been better for the budget, but it’s just a pretty mid SciFi movie and I’m kind of baffled by the reception it has received. I’ll throw out a disclaimer that I’ve never read the source material so I have no idea how it holds up as an adaptation, but otherwise it’s a pretty run of the mill SciFi Adventure flick with some of my least favorite actors in Hollywood.
