It’s discouraging that this movie will never move beyond its cult classic status. But it’s understandable — it’s jarring, depressing, a classic ptsdesque movie for children blah blah blah. But it’s so beautiful. It’s so hypnotic and the sudden shift in tone works so much better than most horror movies coming out today. Literally one of the best animated films ever Sanrio needs to run this back immediately
