That Girl in Yellow Boots
On a rewatch, THAT GIRL IN YELLOW BOOTS hits differently than my intial (scandalized) reaction, especially with regards to the film’s ending. It’s nuanced, boasts a great cast of supporting character, packaged in strong seedy, Mumbail visuals — but ultimately all anyone wants to unpack (and associate the film with) is its harrowing final 18 minutes.

This is one of the earlier films I watched that took me down the Anurag Kashyap rabbit hole many years ago. Bring him back.
