this movie is wonderful its about 2 bestfriends, one not so girly and one really girly. The one that’s really girly finds a way to go to the school of good and evil and when she casts the spell a big dragon takes her but her best friend finds in the woods and hold on to her and they’re both placed in a school , the girly one that wanted to go to good got placed in bad and the not so girly one got placed into the good school even tho she really wants to get out of there and go back to the real world with her bestfriend.

So the whole film was basically just about attitude towards every person—how can they be seen based on their norms, virtues, and deeds? What do you mean that you'll be considered as evil when you attack but won't when you defend? I know it's the story of this film, but this just shows how everything can be seen through perspectives. The idea and interpretation of one's action have always been the problem. The only good thing to ever happen here is when they end the film because that was a relief that despite wasting my time, there's still an end to end—I feel so safe after the film ends. I will never watch it again nor even recommend this to anyone; it's so hard to be attached to this. Bye.

I adored the books when I was younger, so I was pretty excited for a film adaptation. But whoever wrote the script clearly didn't read any of the books, because they turned a heartfelt story into just another cringey teen fantasy film, and I got major Descendants vibes from this. The characters were so different, vital plot points were changed or left out entirely, and though this was two and a half hours long, it still felt way too short for the amount of material stuffed into it. The only saving graces were the costumes and performances from Charlize Theron and Michelle Yeoh. I wouldn't recommend watching this film if you're a fan of the books, because it's severely disappointing.
