This movie's visuals are so amazing that they almost convince you that it is actually a great film , but sadly it isn't. I absolutely adore Nicolas Windidng Refn's work, I really like everything I have seen of his and it pains me to say that this film was just mediocre. Visuals aside, nothing really happened , there wasn't much dialog and all together it was just boring. The acting, imo, wasn't great either (ofc i am not saying this about Ryan gosling, that man is amazing).
I see why some people might like this, but it didn't really work for me. Still a really beautifully shot movie, can't say enough about that lol.
