Its crazy that all this happened 7 years ago in 2019. Jokes aside though It’s ight, not really my personal favorite but I can see why people like it. First things first though, I just need to state that 90% of this movie is filmed in the rain, like it was even raining inside buildings too. Was kind of ridiculous. Ok so on to the good, the worldbuilding and sets were phenomenal and the music was great. I also really enjoyed the ending. The movies atmosphere was amazing. The real killer for me was pacing was pretty far off, I was getting disinterested and bored every once and a while. I also felt like they introduced ideas and characters then kind of tossed them aside like the whole eye test thing. It Al’s kind of felt a bit all over the place, like is it a detective movie, dystopian, action, romance. It blended together and kind of made it confusing and random, a bit of a headache at times. It’s definitely got a few flaws but the atmosphere is what really made this film. Meh, might rewatch, might not.
